DanJickCreative brand agency Superunion (formerly known as Brand Union) announced the new hire of Prachawan Ketavan (Jick) as Senior Strategy Director.

 

Jick will take on the leadership of Superunion’s strategic offering in Bangkok as part of a global agency-wide transformation into a next-generation brand agency. With more than 18 years of experience in brand communication, her last role was as Director of Planning at J. Walter Thompson.

Jick’s hire follows closely on the heels of the newly created role of Managing Creative Director, taken on by Dan Ellis. Following 15-years with Brand Union, both Ellis & Jick share a strong ambition to creatively transform and create brands for a new era of the agency.

The new roles build on the success already established by ex-Managing Director Gunpong Panthongprasert, who is now Chief Executive, Ogilvy Thailand, and are supported by a powerful union of talent including Bonita Wu (Strategy Director) and Kraitip Sivakriskul (Business Development Director).

Ramirez moved to Southeast Asia from New York in 2014 after more than a decade in media planning, publishing and advertising. Prior to joining RICE, Ramirez spent over four years building the digital practice of the Indonesia and Singapore offices of Zeno Group.

Ramirez’s appointment comes off the back of other newly created roles aimed at building a centre of excellence in Singapore for RICE, to support its offices in the region. Janine Jacobs has been appointed Director of Creative and Integrated Services, and Agung Ongko is the consultancy’s new Director of Strategy and Insights.
